Prices compare different brands and designs of the same weight and purity; they are not identical products.
“Popular” order = average monthly US searches for each coin’s common name (Ubersuggest, Oct 25, 2026). Price per oz/gram is per ounce or gram of the metal inside (fine weight). Copper shows no % over melt: rounds sell for several times their copper value.

How we pick and rank these coins
- Which coins and in what order: a fixed list of 19 coins and bars we price every day (list reviewed Oct 24, 2026). They are ordered by average monthly US Google searches for each coin's common name, from Ubersuggest (Oct 25, 2026); the keyword used is shown on each coin. Search volume measures interest, not sales, and coin order never affects dealer order.
- Ranking: dealers are listed strictly by lowest single-unit check/wire price. Dealers are ranked by price only; affiliate status never changes the order.
- Same item, same unit: junk silver is priced per $1 face value; rolls are divided down (a $10-face roll ÷ 10). A coin is shown only when at least 3 dealers have a fresh price.
- Filters: a price below melt +0.5% or above 1.6× melt is dropped as likely stale or a different product; copper uses a fixed $1–$15 range instead. Prices older than 24 hours are removed at each update.
- Specs: weight and fineness from the issuing mint or the coinage law, linked on each coin with the date we checked it. Catalog numbers (N#) link to Numista (Source: Numista). Collector values are linked to PCGS CoinFacts and Greysheet, not copied. Those guides value graded and better-date coins; prices here are for common circulated or bullion pieces.
